Her Path Counseling offers support for mothers and daughters during the teen years and early adulthood, when relationships are naturally changing and can feel more strained.
Both people need to be willing to participate.
If your daughter is hesitant but open to attending one session, that’s enough to begin. The first session is intentionally low-pressure for both of you.
If she is not willing to participate at all, starting with individual therapy may be a better first step, and we offer that option as well.
Support can help you both reconnect and understand each other more clearly.

What if my daughter is hesitant or unsure?
That’s common. If she’s willing to attend at least the first session, we can start in a low-pressure way.
Do we have to agree on what the problem is?
No. You don’t need to see it the same way , just a shared willingness to understand each other better.
How long does therapy last?
This is a focused 6–8 session model designed to create meaningful progress in a short period of time. Structured sessions are focused and goal-oriented, allowing you to work on key patterns in communication, conflict, and connection within a defined number of sessions rather than open-ended therapy.
